Arvento, Turkey’s leading vehicle tracking systems company, was this year’s winner of the European Business Awards, which was attended by 17 thousand companies from 31 countries across Europe. Arvento, which was honored with the Ruban d’Honeur award by being among the 10 most successful companies in Europe among thousands of companies, was selected as the “Most Successful Company in Europe” in the category of “The Infosys Business of the Year Award [t/o €0-25m]” by leaving 9 strong competitors behind in the last stage of the competition.
On the evening of May 27th, Arvento received its award at a ceremony attended by the leading names of Europe’s business, politics and media world in Athens. Arvento is the only Turkish company to have received this major award at the European Business Awards this year.
Presented since 2007, the European Business Awards is one of the most prestigious business awards in Europe with its evaluation criteria and jury members. In the competition, which differs from other business awards with its jury of 150 people consisting of prominent names from the world of business, politics and media, important leaders and executives such as the former prime ministers of Spain, Estonia, Belgium and Romania, as well as officials from the European Union Commission and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) serve as jury members.
The competition process, in which companies are evaluated in 10 different categories, is completed in about 6 months with written applications, video presentations and finally face-to-face presentations. In this process, finalist companies are evaluated on different criteria such as their innovation, growth rate, commercial and social benefits, employment and international operations.
Arvento, which operates in 23 other countries by producing all of its technology in Turkey with Turkish engineers, is currently the market leader in the EMEA region as well as in Turkey. With this success, Arvento is proud to be among the few Turkish companies operating in the international arena and honored by independent organizations.
